How to keep your cranberries fresh

Store cranberries in the fridge as soon as possible after purchase. Keep the punnet upright and handle carefully to avoid bruising.

Cranberries can be stored in the fridge for up to a month. They are also great for freezing – as fresh cranberries are only available for a short period, we recommend buying two punnets and freezing one. Cranberries can be stored in a freezer for up to a year!

Top tip - cranberries have small internal ‘air pockets’, they are natural ‘bouncing berries’. You will know if your cranberries are past their best as they will no longer bounce when dropped!

Always wash your cranberries before you eat them.

When are fresh cranberries in season?
