How to make purple porridge

  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  • Add the banana and water and stir over the heat for 2 minutes.
  • Add the blackberries and heat until softened.
  • Measure the oats and milk into a small saucepan. Stir over the heat until boiling, simmer for 2 minutes until the oats are soft.
  • Add the compote and mix well. Spoon into a bowl.

  • 20g porridge oats
  • 120mls milk
