We received the prestigious 'Winner of the Winners' accolade, organised by the Fresh Produce Consortium, widely recognised as the 'voice of the UK fresh produce industry'.

We're delighted to have been crowned as Fresh Produce Business of the Year at the 2024 Fresh Produce Consortium FPC Fresh Awards.

The FPC Fresh Awards judges, a dedicated team of senior directors within the produce industry, commended our efforts: "BerryWorld has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to long-term sustainability. They have set their sights firmly on minimising their environmental impact by working towards a more circular economy, while resolutely upholding their responsibility to operate ethically. At the same time, the business continues to deliver on quality and service for customers and strives to promote transparency and progression across the Group".

We're also immensely proud to have won the Sustainability Excellence Ethical Award for our project supporting our female workforce in South Africa, helping them overcome taboos and gain access to sanitary aid during their menstrual cycle.

Our celebrations extend to our partner grower, Emery Soft Fruits, who received the UK Fruit & Veg Grower of the Year accolade. This award recognises their determination to drive forward domestic berry availability while ensuring sustainable production and the highest ethical and environmental standards.

Additionally, we were shortlisted in the Sustainability Excellence Climate Award and the Innovation Award categories. We're also proud of our team members' individual recognitions: Stefan Rusev, BerryWorld UK director, was nominated as Manager of the Year, and Ellie Shapcott, NPD Manager at PrepWorld (our prepared fruit division), was shortlisted as Rising Star.

Adam Olins, our Group CEO, expressed his pride: "We are incredibly proud to receive the Fresh Produce Business of the Year award from the FPC Fresh Awards jury. This is a testament to our commitment to deliver the best berry varieties, not only delicious but also sustainably and ethically grown & packed, for an outstanding consumer experience. Thank you to the people who keep our berry world turning, our staff, as well as our growers and partners, in particular, Stefan Rusev, James Emery, Emma Henry and Ellie Shapcott for the fantastic results obtained at the awards."
