Trick or treat? These pumpkins are the perfect Halloween treat. Fun to make and they will wow the mini guests at your Halloween party.

  • Carefully melt orange Candy Melts or similar in a bowl in the microwave as per the instructions on the back of the pack.
  • Allow the last few lumps to melt in the residual heat. Add a teaspoon of coconut oil to the icing to loosen to make easier to work with.
  • Dip the strawberries into the orange icing and lay on a sheet of grease proof paper to set.
  • Whilst the icing is drying, melt some brown ‘Candy Melts’ or similar in the same way then tip into an icing bag fitted with a small aperture nozzle.
  • Carefully ice ‘Jack o lantern’ faces onto the strawberries and leave to set completely in the fridge. If the brown icing starts to set in the icing bag, dip the whole bag into a bowl of warm water for a moment to re-melt.

Note: Try experimenting with different face designs. Test them out on a sheet of grease proof paper first.
